How can I get financial help from my district or school to attend conference?
In times like these, ASCD understands that it can be financially difficult to attend Annual Conference. In light of this, we've put together a few tools you can use in talking to your school or district about financial assistance. We have three sample letters you can fill in to fit your situation as well as a letter from our executive director, Dr. Gene Carter, that details exactly how important continuing professional development is the field of education and the return on investment you're sure to get from attending any one of our over 500 sessions.
If you have any questions about the letters or need additional information, please contact the ASCD Annual Conference staff.
