Our Guarantee
Our goal is to exceed your expectations for quality and service. If within 30 days of attending an institute or conference you feel that we have fallen short of this goal, please contact us by e-mail for a refund or credit.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a program you have registered for, please send your cancellation in writing 14 calendar days (30 days for academies) prior to the start of the program to request a credit voucher. Within 14 days of the start of the program, you are ineligible for a credit voucher, but you may send a non-registered person in your place with registration confirmation or written authorization from you.
For all cancellations there is a $35.00 processing fee.

Hotel Information
Institutes and Pre-Conference Institutes: Participants are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and lodging. All registrants will receive a registration confirmation, which will include travel and hotel information.
Annual Conference: Participants are responsible for securing their own meals and lodging. Transportation is provided from many hotels to and from the annual conference venue. Reservations for lodging are accepted by the ASCD Housing Bureau and confirmations are sent after each booking, modification, and cancellation. All participating hotels guarantee special ASCD room rates when secured by the cutoff date specified in the Annual Conference Preview. All registrants will receive a registration confirmation. The confirmation will include travel and hotel information.
Academies: Registration fees include most meals (continental breakfasts and four lunches). All registrants will receive a registration confirmation. The confirmation will include travel and hotel information.
Note: Hotel rates are NOT guaranteed after the cutoff date or if the ASCD room block is full

If you are unable to attend, you may send a nonregistered person in your place, with registration confirmation or written authorization from you. There may be an adjustment to the price if your replacement has a different membership status than you.

Simply visit the Professional Development area, where you can view the lists of events and register for them.

3. How can I be certain that you have received my online registration?
If you entered an e-mail address when you registered, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgment within 30 minutes or less of submitting your registration. If you did not enter an e-mail address, you may call the Service Center at 1-800-933-2723 or 1-703-578-9600, then press 2, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday, to confirm that we received and processed your registration.

4. Can I register a team of 5 or more online?
Every fifth person registered from the same school organization may attend without paying a registration fee. [Note: Registrations must be submitted together and include payment of all materials fees.] Because registrations for a team of 5 or more must be submitted together, we currently cannot accept them online. Please call our Service Center at 1-800-933-2723 or 1-703-578-9600, then press 2, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. eastern time, Monday through Friday, to register your team.
