Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Upon completion of any ASCD workshop or conference, you will receive a certificate of completion from ASCD. The certificate includes 5.5–27.5 clock hours that you can use toward continuing education credit in most states.

Note: Clock hours are not awarded for the ASCD Annual Conference. Hours are not listed on the Annual Conference certificate of completion.

University Degree Program:

Central Michigan University offers an online Master of Arts degree in Teacher Leadership that incorporates ASCD professional development materials. Learn more about this program.

University Credit:

Unless noted, each of the colleges and universities listed offers course credit for ASCD professional development opportunities, including

• Attendance at the Annual Conference and Exhibit Show.
• Attendance at a workshop or conference.
• Completion of a PD Online course.

For information about receiving credit, please write directly to the contact person listed. Most institutions require that you contact them in advance of attending a program. Please do not contact ASCD for credit information. Be sure to obtain prior approval if transferring credits to another institution.
