Registration Terms
Registration is accepted on a full-payment, first-come, first-served basis only.
Registration Confirmation
Confirmations are e-mailed within 48 hours after processing your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please call the ASCD Service Center at 1-800-933-ASCD (2723), then press 1, to determine the status of your registration.
Please do not book nonrefundable airline tickets without confirmation that your registration has been received and processed. ASCD will not be held responsible for airfares booked before confirmation is received.
Special Services
Please notify ASCD at the time you register if you need a sign language interpreter or other special assistance. ASCD must be notified in writing at least 14 calendar days in advance of the event.
Program Cancellation
ASCD reserves the right to cancel programs because of low registration. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified and will receive full refunds.
No Show
If you are unable to attend a program for which you have registered, e-mail or write to ASCD 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program to request a credit voucher. Or, you can send a nonregistered person in your place, with registration confirmation or written authorization from you.
There is a $35 processing fee for all cancellations ($70 if canceling both Conference and Pre-Conference), refunds, or credits. If you cancel within 14 days of the program, no refund or voucher will be issued.
Travel and Lodging
Participants are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and lodging. All hotel reservations must be made via our website or by phone. (ASCD provides coffee, pastries, and tea each morning. Participants are responsible for their own lunches and dinners.)
Separate Registration for Annual Conference and Exhibit Show Pre-Conference Institutes
Registration for the Pre-Conference Institutes associated with the Annual Conference does not include registration for our Annual Conference. You may register for both the Annual Conference and Pre-Conference Institutes by using our combination registration fee.
Our Guarantee
Our goal is to exceed your expectations for quality and service. If you feel we have fallen short of this goal, please contact us within 45 days of attending an institute or conference for a refund or credit.

On-Site Registration
When space is available, you may register on-site for an additional $25 fee. The professional development opportunities may sell out. Do not depend on registering on-site. Please contact ASCD for availability.
On-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and will close at 8:30 a.m., when the sessions begin.

Registration Discounts
Register a Team and Save
When you register four people from the same school or organization for an ASCD institute, the fifth registration is free. (All registrations must be submitted together and include payment of all materials fees.) This discount does not apply to the ASCD Summer Showcase.
Earn Complimentary Professional Development
If you attend three ASCD institutes in a two-year period, you can receive registration to your fourth institute free. You will be responsible for any materials fee if applicable.
