Lauri M. Leeper

Lauri M. Leeper is a postdoctoral research associate at the College of William and Mary and an educational consultant with Stronge and Associates. In the latter capacity, she works with state agencies and school districts on teacher and administrator evaluation systems. Her current research interests include teacher and administrator evaluation, teacher effectiveness, teacher leadership, and effective reading comprehension instruction. She is a former middle school and elementary school teacher, a certified library media specialist, and a certified reading specialist. She has presented at national-, state-, and local-level conferences on topics including teacher evaluation, closing the achievement gap, effective schools, information literacy, inquiry-based learning, and curriculum design. Leeper received her doctoral degree in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership from the College of William and Mary.
