Anne R. Reeves is an associate professor of education and department head at Susquehanna University. She teaches introductory education courses to first-year students, teaches methods courses to seniors, and supervises secondary education students in their student teaching.
Reeves is a member of the board of directors of Summer Seals Day Camp, a program that provides elementary school children whose reading and math skills are below grade level with the help they need in a camp-like setting. She is also a member of the steering committee for Saturday Science, a program that provides hands-on science exploration and education to children and their parents.
Before she earned her Ph.D. in English and Education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Reeves taught English and social studies at the secondary level in public schools. She is the author of the ASCD book Where Great Teaching Begins: Planning for Student Thinking and Learning.
