From Vision in Action to Whole Child Network

This year we are sunsetting Vision in Action: The ASCD Whole Child Award as we launch the new Whole Child Network of Schools (WCN). This new network takes what has been learned from our outstanding Vision in Action Award winners (2010–2018), our Whole Child Pilot Study (2012–2015), and our implementation and advocacy work around a whole child approach to education since 2007 and transforms that into a network of schools globally working toward the same whole child mission. The WCN will be actively taking the whole child vision and putting it into action on a global scale.
For more information, go to www.ascd.org/wholechildnetwork.

EL’s experienced team of writers and editors produces Educational Leadership magazine, an award-winning publication that reaches hundreds of thousands of K-12 educators and leaders each year. Our work directly supports the mission of ASCD: To empower educators to achieve excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.
