Whole Child Symposium on Engagement Gap
Join us on the evening of May 4, 2016 for ASCD's fourth Whole Child Symposium about the engagement gap. Experts and practitioners will tackle the question of how to make every school and every classroom an engaging environment for all learners. This forum, hosted for educators and by educators to discuss pressing education issues, will feature Russell Quaglia, founder and president of the Quaglia Institute for Student Aspirations; Kaya Henderson, chancellor of Washington, D.C., public schools; and Bena Kallick, ASCD author and international consultant in group dynamics, creative and critical thinking, and alternative assessment strategies.
