Accessing articles for personal use
ASCD members — Log in to access all articles from every issue of our periodicals.
Nonmembers — ASCD does NOT provide free copies of articles to nonmembers, but does make a select few available for public access in each issue. Look for the Read the Article link under the title. Otherwise, nonmembers may purchase articles by clicking on the Buy the Article link under the title.
Photocopying Guidelines for ASCD Periodicals
ASCD permits readers to duplicate the following limited number of copies from each issue free of charge provided that
- Copies are distributed free of charge beyond the cost of duplication, and
- Each copy includes a full citation of the source.
Free Use Without Written Permission:
Educational Leadership: Up to 50 copies of up to three articles from a single issue
Education Update: Up to 100 copies of one article from a single issue
This authorization only applies to articles, illustrations, graphics, or photographs copyrighted by ASCD. Check the citation and copyright notice printed in the issue.
