About the authors
Sandi Everlove is the founder and chief academic officer at TeachFirst. She is the primary architect of a professional learning model that integrates online videos of research-based instructional practices, collaborative learning communities, leadership development, and onsite consulting. Prior to TeachFirst, Sandi was a high school chemistry teacher in Seattle Public Schools. She received the Washington State Golden Apple Award in 1998 and created an award-winning high school ethics course. A passionate advocate for children, she established and trained a mobile professional development team providing support for rural teachers in Guatemala and cofounded Lake Washington Girls Middle School, the first not-for-profit, secular all-girls middle school in Washington state.
