ASCD Announces 2014 Pre-Conference Lineup
As part of the 69th ASCD Annual Conference and Exhibit Show, one-, two-, and three-day Pre-Conference Institutes will be held March 12–14, 2014, in Los Angeles, California. These institutes will offer participants an immersive learning experience, with sessions on
- Common Core State Standards implementation
- The Understanding by Design framework
- Classroom Instruction That Works
- Instruction that targets English language learners.
ASCD is also excited to offer site visits to high-performing schools as part of the Pre-Conference Institutes. Seating for the site-visit institutes is limited; attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
ASCD's 2014 Annual Conference and Exhibit Show, which will take place March 15–17, 2014, at the Los Angeles Conference Center, will feature more than 350 sessions. Keynote speakers include best-selling author Daniel Pink; Russell Quaglia, president and founder of the Quaglia Institute for Student Aspirations; and internationally known author and speaker Sir Ken Robinson.
