Classroom Leadership Conference

What really works in today's classroom? Find out at ASCD's first-ever Classroom Leadership Conference, to be held July 8–10, 1999, in Orlando, Florida. The conference will feature award-winning teachers from every grade level and subject area demonstrating their successful approaches and best practices for the classroom.
Along with multiple workshops led by master teachers, the conference will include general session speakers Richard Strong and Harvey Silver, who will talk about recent scientific discoveries on the brain (see p. 22), and Fred D'Ignazio, who will discuss up-to-date ideas on the best multimedia approaches for the classroom.
