A survey of more than 180 school leaders and 1,500 teachers in India, Indonesia, Kenya, and Malaysia showed that, despite facing extreme difficulties over the past year, many educators in these countries still believe their work has impact.
90% of the school leaders and 75% of the teachers believed that they were "ultimately responsible" for their students' in-school learning.
71% of school leaders and 60% of teachers reported times when a student got better grades when they (the teachers) found a better way to teach that student.
