In a recent survey, 1,000 K–12 educators identified changes they think would best support students’ learning as schools reopen and recover from the pandemic:
53% recommend a focus on fewer grade-level standards.
34% think schools need more paraprofessionals to provide support to struggling learners.
30% recommend more social-emotional learning resources to help students process the effects of the past year.
And on a positive note:
93% were proud of how they adapted their teaching to meet students’ needs this past year!
