Cathy Pressnell is the MCS literacy coordinator for grades 3–6. She has served as a classroom teacher, an academic coach, director of literacy for the Tennessee Early Literacy Network, and director of educator engagement for the Tennessee Department of Education. Pressnell was the 2016 ­Tennessee Teacher of the Year.
