Erik Powell has been working as an educator for more than 20 years. A member of the ASCD Understanding by Design® Cadre, he facilitates professional development for schools and districts across the country. Although much of his work focuses on curriculum design, Powell also helps schools develop action plans involving differentiated instruction and Common Core State Standards.
