Kelly Johnson is a doctor of philosophy and member of ASCD's FIT Teaching® (Framework for Intentional and Targeted Teaching®) Cadre and an award-winning educator. She is a faculty member in the School of Teacher Education at San Diego State University and an instructional coach in the San Diego Unified School District. Often referred to by her colleagues as a teacher's teacher, she has appeared in many instructional videos on teacher modeling, assessment and instruction, effective grouping, and writing instruction.
