Richard Banyon is the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel, Curriculum, and Instruction for the Deer Park School District. He has more than 30 years of experience as a classroom teacher, guidance counselor, dean, building administrator, and central office administrator in New York City and Long Island. He has presented workshops on preparing new teachers for the classroom, including classroom management and instructional strategies.
