We will focus specifically on those strategies that help students activate background knowledge, connect new learning to previous learning, and better understand complex new information.

About the presenter

Elizabeth Ross Hubbell is a Supervising Principal Consultant in the Center for Educator Effectiveness at McREL. She leads a team of consultants in Power Walkthrough software and Using Technology with Classroom Instruction That Works. Elizabeth's consultation services also include conducting instructional technology audits and helping organizations strategize for the future using scenario planning.
