Six Mindset Shifts for #SustainableTeaching
Most teachers find their jobs unsustainable. This is partially due to systemic constraints, but it is also due to long held beliefs about teaching and learning. In order to #MakeTeachingSustainable, teachers, coaches, and administrators can embrace six mindset shifts to work towards sustainability: Humanity over Industry, Collectivism over Individualism, Empowerment over Control, Minimalism over Maximalism, Process over Product, and Flexibility over Fixedness.
